My sculpture explores materiality, physical space, and the relationship between objects and viewers. Created using a range of traditional and experimental processes, these projects investigate form, texture, scale, and construction while emphasizing hands-on making and spatial problem solving.
The work spans figurative studies, abstract forms, installations, and mixed-media constructions developed through both fine art and design-oriented approaches. Each project considers how physical objects communicate meaning through their presence, structure, and interaction with the surrounding environment.
Don't Be A Body was a fashion, performance and installation project centered on identity, transformation, and the relationship between the body and constructed personas. For this project I designed and fabricated a series of wearable sculptures and costumes using fabric, cardboard, found materials, and hand-built structures. The work blurred the line between sculpture, performance, and character design, transforming performers into exaggerated figures that challenged conventional ideas of the human form.
The costumes were developed through an iterative process of sketching, prototyping, construction, and live testing. Emphasis was placed on silhouette, movement, texture, and audience interaction, allowing each piece to function both as an object and as part of a larger performative environment.
